I am so grateful for your continued sending the Love Packages to me. I was out of station on mission tour to the north and after that I went with a team to western India visiting to see the works of our young boys and girls who are working among the SLUM in the cities. I was thrilled to see how the teams works in the SLUM. They carried soaps, nailcutter, and helped the childrens in hairdressing hair, cutting, bathing and give them cloths, and teached a song and give the people a tract. This kinds of operation is to show how our Lord Jesus love the rejected by man but God loves them.

We never cease to pray for you and believe that God is blessing you. Our field workers, missionaries and evangelists need English literature desperately. We currently are out and so are unable to sent them out. North-Eastern India is a troubled area, and preaching and open air meetings have become very difficult. But in such a time we need more literatures, so we can visit house to house and personally witness. There are also many gatherings of people in sports events and other purposes but we are missing the opportunity because we don’t have literatures. This is an appeal and a request to help us.

Despite all threats, persecutions, and even opposition from authority, the Spirit of God is moving in a mighty way and revival fires are spreading in many regions of eastern India. Spirit filled believers are boldly declaring the power of God and hundreds of miraculous healings and deliverance are being done in Jesus name. Youth from local churches are organized to witness the gospel and distribute literatures despite the harassment from the opposition. As a result many heathens have come to the knowledge of God. Our hearts are filled with praising and thanking the Lord as we look back in the past, and think of the people who were in darkness and lived in the regions where the gospel had never been preached and missionaries were not allowed, but by the help of literature have seen the great light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now Tens of thousands of believers are worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ 3-4 times a week. Churches have been built in many places that were forbidden territories. It has been the literature ministry that has proved to be the most effective means of reaching these areas. There are many more things I could tell you, but I will close here. I just wanted you to know the position of the churches here. We are in the midst of a challenging situation , but are still reaching out to those in darkness.

The Lord is blessing this outreach ministry with more souls coming to the Lord through literature. It is thrilling to us when people rush to where we are distributing literature just so they can get one piece. At a crusade in Arunachal Pradesh I sent five bags of tracts, magazines and some Bibles with our youth teams to distribute. They distributed only for an half an hour and then all the literature was gone, as all was taken by the people who are so happily rushing our youth. Only the Bibles were kept to give to those who have no Bible. It was reported that over 15,000 came from all over the area, but we could not give to all because we ran out. The demand for literature is very great!! We are trying to do as much as we can. Brother how much I am thankful to you for your love and concern for the lost. Your help has been a great blessing and help to the churches in this part of the world. I have nothing to give in return expect for my prayers. We are always praying for you.

The purpose of this writing is just to share with you about our outreach ministry. We have visited Nepal and Bhutan as an follow-up work since we have distributed large amounts of literature there in the past. Though we cannot preach in Bhutan, yet we had wonderful fellowship with the believers, and two new brothers were baptized. Our missionaries are doing a good job by going inside Bhutan and having secret fellowships with those believers and giving Bibles and other Christian books. In such a place there is no other way to reach these lost souls except through literature. With the help of literature many souls have been saved. In Nepal, it happened at a village very close to Tibet. This village had never had the Gospel before, all the people were Hindu, and earned their living by cattle farming, selling milk and butter. But last year there was a cattle epidemic in that area and many cows died. One man had 36 cows, and within one month 20 cows died. Many treatments could not stop the disease. 7 more died. He was desperate, so he made many sacrifices to his god’s but nothing helped him. One day he was searching for medicine in town and he received a tract from one of our team. That day after returning he found 3 more cows dead. After he buried them, he was sitting with a very heavy heart, when he reached in his pocket and found the tract. It said “Come unto me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” The tract told him about Christ and how He healed the sick and raised the dead. After reading it he thought if Jesus really is God, and if He healed my cows, (which he only had 6 left and they were very sick), then I will follow Him. He told us that he called upon the name of Jesus and that God miraculously healed his 6 cows. After one week he came back into town in search of our team. We have now received word that our missionary has went to that village and preached the Gospel. This man was among 8 people that were baptized. Praise the Lord!

Thank you very much for the boxes of Love Packages. The Bibles and literatures was of great help for our ministry of reaching out to the lost with the Gospel. The video which you sent me earlier, it has helped me specially as I am teaching every week. By the grace and inspiration of God, I am gaining more knowledge and learning from the teaching. And not only me, but those whom I have given the tape, they also are very appreciative and happy.

Thank you for another three packages. Even though there is much opposition against the Christian faith here in India, yet the Spirit of the Lord is moving and many thousands are crying out for the Word of God. Thanks for helping us.

Thank you very much for the packages. I am so happy and thankful. The traveling missionaries we have, have formed groups of 5 person teams and they travel to many unreached regions and carry a lot of Bibles and literatures. They were getting ready to move to the North Burma and Arunachal Pradesh regions and came to me and requested as much Bibles and literature as I could give them. I didn’t have hardly any, and they said they could not go without Bibles and literature because those who have already accepted Christ are waiting for them to bring them Bibles and reading materials. So it was a great joy for me and my missionary friends when these packages arrived. Now we are re-packing and they are ready to be carried on there long journey. I have kept a few Bibles for the lower Burma, they may be here at any time. Brother I can not express my gratitude enough. Because of your vision millions of souls have been saved. Most of the regions, the Gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be proclaimed freely as it is in your country. No preachers, missionaries, or evangelists is allowed, but thank God your Love Packages have first penetrated into those regions and now there are so many believers. We will continue working and believing there are millions who are yet to be saved.

I thank God for you and the packages of books and literature that you sent to us. It’s a great privilege for us to receive books from you and to distribute them among the unreached people. Really your books and materials help us a lot in reaching many souls and many homes.

We are doing this literature ministry through our assistants and co-workers. In fact there is a good response for your quality books. Within a few weeks we received testimony from non Christians and others that said that the books have touched their hearts and they have repented from sin and have accepted Christ. Especially the book Disciple, Why be a Christian? and Jump starting your devotional life.

Right now we have an urgent need of small New Testments, or Bibles. Many have come to Christ but have no Bibles!

Our children’s church enjoyed very much the lessons of the Noah’s arc play sets and the story viewer. We need as much material as you can send to reach the children. I hope that through your books we will be able to bring in a great harvest.

Please pray for the ministry to go smoothly, because we are doing ministry in the face of threats and persecutions. Even opposition from authorities and anti-Christian groups. But our mighty God is with us to overcome all and bring revival. We never cease to pray for you and Love packages.

Thank you very much for another box of Love Packages we received here last week. I am so happy for the materials which I could give to the ministers of the Gospel who are requesting literature. A report reached me that many people were touched by the cassette tapes, some have received Christ as their Saviour and Lord. Another pastor said that many in his church were touched by the messages and teaching and he told me they had tears in their eyes. It has really filled our hearts to see more souls coming to Christ. Some Muslim and Hindus are coming to hear the gospel because of the literature. One Muslim told me that while listening to the gospel he saw a vision of Jesus. He is now a believer. Brother, I am so thankful to you for your concern and love and prayers. It has made it possible for us to continue our outreach ministries into these needy regions.
