Several years ago I met a young man by the name of John Kimayio at a pastors conference that I was doing in Bungoma, up by the Ugandan border of Kenya.

The Lord really impressed me concerning the quality of this young man. When I returned to the States we began to send mail bags of literature to John.

When I went to Kenya this time I wrote John and told him I was coming, and for him to come and find me, which he did. Well come to find out, his home was only about 10 miles from where I was staying. So he invited me to come to his home. John lives in a 12 x12’ mud hut with a thatched roof, with his wife and three sons. It was a great joy for them to have me there, and a great joy for me too. They served me tea and bread. The best they had. John then showed me his pride and joy, “The Moisbridge Pastors Library”. There in the hut was four selves of books that Love Packages had sent. What a blessing to see them!! But then John took out a notebook and begin to show me literally hundreds of names of people who had checked out the books. He then began to share with me how this person had given their life to Christ, and that one had been called to preach, this one didn’t commit suicide, this family was restored, this one was healed, and this one was delivered from drugs. As I listened to the stories I began to cry as I thought about the wonderful grace and mercy that the Lord had poured out by the Spirit through these few books.

Thank you very much brother for your continued love and concern. Thank you for another box of Love Packages we received here yesterday and another we received the first of the year. Thanks for all the Bibles and books. God bless you wonderfully. All the Bibles I have received from you I have given away save the Amplified Bible that my wife took. People need Bibles here and I can not justify having two, the one you gave me is enough. As for the books, I have opened what I call "Moisbridge Ministers Library". Ministers from within the city and some from the environs come to borrow books to read from the small Library at home. I am sincerely thankful for the books. God bless you.

Greetings from Kenya. I say thank you very much for seeing a need of helping people understand the Word in third world countries by sending them literature. I believe that you are sowing in the right ground and God is going to reward you for what you are doing.

So far we have registered about 800 who have gotten saved by reading Love Packages literature in the 9 months since we have opened our reading room and library. We share the Word with anyone who comes to our library to read. We don’t have so much materials but with the few books, tapes, and other literature from Love Packages our small room is filled up. About 50 people come to read everyday. Many Churches have also been coming in for materials.

I have also been offering lessons on how to use a concordance and a Thompson Chain reference Bible. Thanks a lot for teaching me how to use them and other books too.

Love Packages literature is really bringing people together. We now have 9 weekly fellowships for our new converts and for our regular readers. What a blessing! Send us more literature if possible, I am thinking of starting another library with by brother Jonathan in Webuye Kenya.

I am very thankful for your assistance in sending books and Bibles to me. I have so many members in my church without Bibles. I have also started a library with your books that will serve all the churches here and the surrounding area.

I would request you send us more, we have so few books, audio tapes, and videos. Even if it means raising money here to send to you for you to send us some more stuff, we are ready. There are those who have read all the books we have and they would like something new. Please help us. Please don’t think wrongly of me, I am very thankful that this library is here because of you. We love you big!

Receive our greetings from Kenya. Our library is doing okay, although we still lack enough books. Right now the membership has increased from 50 to 120 permanent members. People are bicycling from very far. As far as 30 miles to come and read and borrow Love Packages books. This small library is effecting a very big part of Kitale. Steve you are really a big blessing to us. Many churches are now using the library.

I take this opportunity to thank you for the books and blessed literature. So far it has been a blessing to me, my brothers, parents, the entire church and the Sunday school classes. Through your literature the good scriptures have encouraged us and uplifted us from glory to glory.

I want to report that we have received our very first consignment which you sent to us and I want to take this opportunity to appreciate you all at Love Packages. The materials have been so good, especially of mention is the materials from a man of God David Wilkerson, “Hungry for more of Christ”. This book has been read so far 217 times and every body reading it has a testimony that God has been speaking to them that they need more of Him in their lives than anything else. I want to say that I too have been blessed with the materials that was sent. Please send a slightly bigger consignment to accommodate the wider readership that we have around our town.

We really appreciate for the kind of love and your brotherhood to us by sending us such wonderful books. They are really blessing us here and especially putting in mind that most students are youth. They are learning to put Jesus their foundation of life. Many students are giving their lives to Jesus and the number of attending bible study that we conduct on every Sunday afternoon has tremendously increased from fifty to seventy. Also our church library has taken off quite well with the help of your books. I was really impressed to see that even teachers are yearning to read them and after reading they are literally not the same again. So I really praise God for that and I pray God to bless you.

We received the consignment of Bibles, books, and literature from Love Packages. As of now, we have served 200 churches in Kenya and Uganda. We have received testimonies from these churches on how the materials have been a great blessing to them. The materials have brought great enlightenment to pastors and other leaders as they now have deeper insights in God’s Word and they can minister with greater confidence after being enriched by these materials. We have given out tracts at crusades, seminars, and house to house. We have also distributed Bibles and yet the demand for Bibles is still so great. Many people have never set their eyes on such good quality Bibles like the ones Love Packages sent to us. We do hope that we can receive more Bibles and books soon, so as to continue with what we have started here. Indeed there is a great hunger and thirst for God’s word in Africa. The demand is so great.

We have set up a library at the mission station that is open to all people. One member of the library recently testified that she had never known about tithing until she read a book from the library. Now she gives with great joy. We have also created a mobile library by which we can reach high schools and other institutions. We have even served theological institutions and these materials have been greatly appreciated by both the students and teachers. The materials have acted as a school of the Spirit because the contents were far more than what you receive in a Bible school in this country. The materials on cults have caused many to see the error in their organizations and many have repented and given their lives to Christ. The Sunday school literature is creating great interest and is increasing attendance everywhere it has gone.

The tracts and books have been very effective in house to house witnessing. Just to mention Grace Community outreaches alone, close to two thousand people have read of the good news of Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Lord and savior in the past six months alone. And that number multiplies greatly if we put together all the different churches that have benefited from the literature from Love Packages. The materials we received have gone to over fifty different denominations in East Africa.

Let me close by saying how truly grateful we are to the Lord for your labor of sacrifice. Though these materials the bride of Christ is becoming more and more attractive. You have brought salvation, joy, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to many people. Thank you for being obedient. YOU HAVE INVESTED WISELY! We have no doubt that the Lord will continue strengthening you physically, spiritually, and financially as you continue in this great assignment of impacting the nations though literature.
