They say time flies when you’re having fun, and that’s true. We’re working hard and welcoming friends and trying to keep up with what God is doing!

Southeast Asia Update

Our friends at ActsCo BookHouse posted a video update last month. Meet the directors in Maesai, Thailand, and see the free book “store” that Love Packages supplies. You will also get to hear a little about how their ministry is sending the gospel into Burma and India as well!

Update from Zimbabwe

We also got photos from a distributor in Zimbabwe last month. This is Port Darwin, where several thousand people live. Some of them have seen and used books in school, but no one here has ever owned a book of their own. 

Everyone got gospel literature last month. It may have been a simple devotional, but everyone got something and the word of God does not return void.

Hard at Work in the States

Jason and Chrissy are steering their ship in Alabama. Jason was invited to speak and share the ministry of Love Packages with the senior women’s ministry at Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea.

The crew in Butler has been working on an interesting project as well. Someone donated a few boxes of nice messenger bags. We weren’t sure what to do with them at first, but we decide to pack them for pastors as we are able. Each bag gets a good bible and some reference material. Join us in praying that they are a blessing to the brave men and women who take the gospel great distances every day.

June was also the end of the quarter, which means the receiving warehouse in Butler is chock full of unused Sunday School material from our friends in the publishing industry. If you and some friends want to come by and bundle some workbooks this month, we’d love to have you!

We had lots of great volunteers at both locations last month, and we’re looking forward to working with some great people in July.

The team in Butler also got more than one visit from friends and partners who collect for us in various locales around the midwest. A couple of them even rented vans to bring in a haul!

Finally, it’s a minor thing, but so very encouraging: Our Facebook page got up to 3000 likes!
